The 2022 SD ABY Winter Camp will be meeting at Camp Judson this year!

Due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control, the SD ABY Winter Retreat will not be in Mitchell, SD.  However, we are excited to announce that Winter Retreat 2022 will be moved to Camp Judson near Keystone, South Dakota! The event will still be the same weekend, February 18-20.

In addition to a location change we also have a change in speaker and band.  Since, we are no longer able to have Bill Allison as our speaker, we are looking forward to Pastor Nate Sales as our retreat speaker.  Norden Pass will also not be at Winter Retreat, however, both Bill Allison and Norden Pass have expressed interest in working with us at a future event.

Instead of bringing swimming gear we recommend you bring clothing for outdoor winter activities. There has also been an update in price for the retreat and the new cost will be $75 a person. This price will include meals, lodging, and a t-shirt.  So, please make sure that the students registering for Winter Retreat, put their t-shirt size on their registration form.

The retreat will begin around 7 pm* on Friday evening and end at 11 am* on Sunday morning. 

Campers and Counselors will need to bring bedding and/or sleeping bags.

We believe, God is still 100% behind our event and we look forward to this new adventure God has placed before us.

SD ABY winter youth retreat

February 12-14, 2021

Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, Mitchell, SD

Youth grades 6– 12


• Middle School and Senior High students are welcome to attend the SDABY Winter Retreat

• ABC Dakotas and member participating churches are hosting this event

• The retreat begins at 7:00 PM on February 12th and ends at 12:00 PM on February 14th

• The retreat location is the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center in Mitchell, SD Location:              1525 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301; PHONE: (605) 550-4805

• Cost for the retreat is $90: covers room, food, and meeting room expenses

• Students will stay in a single room/suite with up to 4 others students of the same gender                 (preferably from the same church.)

• All rooms will be chaperoned by at least 1 approved adult leader (at least 18 years of age)

• Bring a sleeping bag, Bible, notebook, any needed personal items, etc.                                              Optional - swimwear for the pool (if venue allows the pool to be open)

• Pool use/recreational facilities are limited to hours of operation and adult leader supervision

• Swimwear must include shorts for boys and a modest one piece suit for girls “Non-white T-           Shirts” or athletic swim shirt is an optional addition for female swim attire

• DO NOT BRING: drugs, alcohol, weapons of any kind, fireworks, etc.

• At all times, students are expected to follow all rules and directions, whether written or               verbal, from venue staff and retreat leaders. We will have fun, yet still expect respectful,           Christ-like, behavior during the entirety of the event. Failure to adhere to this code of               conduct could result in a student being removed from the event at the parent’s expense
