In the early church, many churches partnered together to assist the struggling church in Jerusalem (2 Corinthians 8:16-21). The churches cooperating in this shared mission selected an "administrator" who was trusted to manage and distribute the funds. In this same spirit, the American Baptist Churches of the Dakotas exists to administer the shared missions of our Member Churches in North and South Dakota. Regional ministries include camp ministries in both states, prison ministry, multicultural ministry, mission support, regional events for pastors and churches, church plant ministry, loans to churches, Holy Cow Project, search and call assistance, conflict management, clergy support, and representation to regional and national church councils.
