COMBINED HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH CAMP (July 27-Aug. 1): We're pleased to announce a brand-new camp this year. Several years of long waiting lists for winter and summer camp have prompted us to explore other options to give junior high and high school-aged students a Christian camping experience. Our summer camping season, which extends from May to August, is booked through with day and overnight youth and family camps, so we are offering an entirely new week of summer camp that would give families another option. Rising seventh graders through graduating seniors may attend this camp, which begins Sunday afternoon and ends Friday morning. HIGH SCHOOL CAMPS: July High School Camp (or High School Camp 2) is open and already at half capacity. We expect this camp to fill before the end of January. Registration for June High School Camp (June 15-20) is not yet open. We're waiting to hear back from the directors about how many campers we can let in. In the meantime, if you're the parent of a camper who wishes to attend June High School Camp, kindly let us know at info@campjudson.org so we have an idea of how many students want to come. TRAIL CAMP: Trail Camp is limited to the first 25 registrants this year. Trail Camp (July 13-19) is held the same week as Junior Camp (July 13-18), so this means students entering grades 8 through 12 could attend both Trail and Junior High (July 20-26) camps or both Trail and High School (June 15-20 and July 6-12) camps. Please note that students must be entering the eighth grade to attend Trail Camp. We will not make exceptions for students younger than 13. The packing list for Trail Camp is on our website, so registrants can begin looking for and acquiring necessary items well in advance. JUNIOR HIGH CAMP (July 20-26): Campers who are going into the ninth grade may attend either Junior High Camp or High School Camp. The waiting list for this camp was 40 deep last year, and it filled only a few weeks after High School Camp filled up. This means you don't have as much time as you think you have to register your middle schooler. JUNIOR CAMP: This camp is for children who will enter the fourth through sixth grade in the fall of 2025. Please note that Junior Camp (July 13-18) has been shortened by a day, making it a six-day, five-night experience for children going into grades fourth through sixth. Campers will check in on Sunday afternoon and depart Friday morning. COLLEGE AND YOUNG ADULT (C-YA) CAMP: If your high school graduate is missing summer camp already, please tell them about C-YA (May 18-22). This camp is especially programmed for young men and women who are at least one year out of high school. PROJECT CAMP: This free camp is for students entering grades 9 and up. Campers who register for Project Camp (May 18-22) should expect to work and come prepared to do so, but they will learn to find joy and unity of purpose in serving alongside others. Register early, as this camp is limited to 30 campers. DAY CAMP: Two sessions (one four-day session and a second five-day session) are offered from late May through early June. Session 2 includes the option of an overnight stay. WINTER CAMP: Winter Camp is held over President's Day weekend and open to high school and middle school-aged students. FAMILY CAMP: Families may choose between Family Camp 1 (June 29 -July 4) and Family Camp 2 (TBA). Registration will open later this month. TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is not available for campers who need a ride to Winter Camp, but it is offered for both day and overnight summer youth camps. Transportation may be purchased as an "Additional Purchase" during the checkout process. Reach out if you have questions about the registration process. If you don’t get an answer right away, please keep in mind we are a year-round, family-run ministry. When the last of our high school and college-aged staff leave in August, we’re short-handed until May. So if you call and there’s no answer, there’s a good chance we’re in the middle of handling other registrations, serving campers, cleaning bathrooms, repairing facilities, thanking donors or working on the new chapel. We are for you and your camper and will get back to you! We're anxious to welcome you all back to camp next year. Thank you for your partnership in what God is accomplishing in, through and for Camp Judson. |
